Incident Response (IR)
Incident Response (IR) is an organized approach to addressing and managing the aftermath of a security breach or cyberattack. The goal of IR is to handle the situation in a way that limits damage, reduces recovery time and costs, and minimizes the impact on business operations. A mature IR program includes a documented plan, defined roles and responsibilities, communication procedures, and technical playbooks for common attack scenarios. The NIST incident response lifecycle consists of four phases: Preparation, Detection and Analysis, Containment and Eradication, and Post-Incident Activity. CyberUp24 provides Incident Response and Threat Intelligence services to help organizations detect, contain, and recover from security incidents rapidly.
